Joanna

project manager

For over a decade, she’s been working at the intersection of culture, communication, and civic engagement.

A cultural anthropologist, producer, and writer with a background in visual arts, media, and social education. She holds degrees from the University of Warsaw and the Graduate School for Social Research at the Polish Academy of Sciences.

She has collaborated with the Museum of Modern Art in Warsaw, the media startup Outriders, Letko animation studio, Google News Initiative, Open Society Foundations, Goethe-Institut, and various NGOs in Poland and abroad. She is a co-founder of the Public Space Research Foundation and the creator and coordinator of an artist and researcher residency program between Warsaw and Berlin.

Clear communication and transparency are key values in the partnerships she builds. What drives her is the chance to create meaningful changes in everyday life—ones that help us function more efficiently, sustainably, and with greater care for our immediate surroundings.

In her free time, she hops on her road bike, and when she has more of it, she heads out on routes through Lower Silesia and the Karkonosze mountains, which she loves. Unless it’s raining and windy—then she catches up on books and the latest sci-fi shows.
